Welcome to Our Admission Requirements

To keep every cat safe, relaxed, and comfortable during their stay, I have a few simple requirements that help ensure a calm and healthy environment. These guidelines allow me to prepare properly for your cat and to provide the gentle, home-style care The Cat Retreat is known for.

Please take a moment to read through them before booking.

1. Vaccinations
All cats must have proof of up-to-date core vaccinations. A scanned copy of the vaccination page is required before check-in.
Kittens must have received at least one vaccination.
If a cat cannot receive vaccinations for medical reasons, a letter from your veterinarian is required.

2. Scanned Passport Copy
A clear scanned copy of your cat’s passport must be sent to me through WhatsApp before check-in.
The original passport is required only if your cat is traveling.

3. Health and Parasite Protection
All cats must arrive free from fleas, ticks, mites, internal parasites, and any contagious conditions.
If your cat has a medical history or requires medication, please inform me in advance so I can prepare properly.

4.Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency (FeLV / FIV)
I am unable to accept cats who are positive for FeLV or FIV.
Untested cats are welcome as long as there is no known positive diagnosis.

5.General Health at Check-In
Cats must arrive in stable health and not showing signs of active illness, severe pain, or distress.

6.Health and Liability DisclaimerEvery cat staying with us receives gentle, attentive care in a clean and calm environment.
However, The Cat Retreat cannot be held responsible for any illness that may arise during or after the stay, as some conditions can develop without symptoms or clear exposure.
By confirming a booking, owners acknowledge and accept this policy.
